  I had went there soul purposely for the advance. Was told that it could take up to 15mins to 2hours for my 1300 I was approved for to be on my card thwy gave me. They even told me what location to use so that way I won't be charged an atm fee.Come to find out she didn't even apply me for the loan! I was so distraught they couldn't do anything about it. The women didn't even want to fess up to making that mistake when her supervisor called her. Which I didn't care about that I just was REALLY counting on it. That was the ONLY reason I had went to them. So after being told nothing could be done the higer up I went with management, I was defeated! They couldn't put a hold or cancel the tax application and my taxes were locked in. I had to request to speak to as high up as I could go. Very nice man but even he couldn't help. Last year I was very pleased with Jackson Hewitt. This year was aweful. I will never recommend coming to them and I have told so many of my friends not to go through them for an advance because its a chance it would be done correctly or not. So many other places charge less and they actually care if a mistake was made. The only thing they were wanting to offer was a discount next year to do my taxes. I could of had them done for free this year if I didn't need that advance so bad. Now, in the office, they were talking about how if you refer people they give you $20 a person. That they have wrote out checks to people as high as $2,000 because some guy made copies of those refer cards. I can't believe they wouldn't even help out with the fee this year. It's sad how they try to make you settle. I'm working on getting refunded THIS YEAR for the mess up. It cost me so much over this mistake. I trusted them! I wasn't mad over a mistake but the way they acted like it was no big deal what had happened. Its sad. The supervisor acted like if the lady that did my taxes doesn't own up to the mistake that there was nothing they could do. People make mistakes all the time not a big deal. But to charge me so much money and you messed up is so sad. The least they could do is refund my cost of coming to them, the whole $488.95. Because next year I won't be back. Ever! I have been waiting almost a whole month after I have asked to get my money back from this year. No call backs on my request no follow up...nothing.

  Cost is very high for simple service. Had to wait 20 minutes after starting tax return while preparer helped others. Nice people but pricing way too high, will try another preparer next year.
